Blossom On My Mind

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far!
As for me, I feel incredibly inspired this time of the year. The spring bloom makes me blossom from inside and makes me wish to mimic this spring revival. Spring palette and ensembles with a feminine touch are on my mind all the time. Today’s outfit is a good example of it. Flower print dress, earth color trench coat and apple green pumps represent perfectly how I feel right now.

On another note, despite the charm of this time, there is one thing that is always difficult for me. I'm talking about the transition to bare legs. It not only feels weird at first, but I literally feel cold and uncomfortable with bare legs most of the time until it’s really warm, or even hot, outside. The solution that works great for me is fishnets. It feels like I’m wearing almost nothing even though my legs are covered and I believe this kind of hosiery is not for a night out or carnival only. It can be easily incorporated in a daytime outfit and worn elegantly.

If you’ve never tried it before but are willing to, I suggest paying close attention to two things – color and mesh. Opt for fishnets in neutral shades (nude, brown, etc.), actually the closer to your skin color the better. Also choose small mesh hosiery (the mesh in this case refers to the size of the holes in the hosiery) with small or even tiny holes, that would make it appropriate during the daytime. Finally, pretty please, avoid anything open-toed! One more example of how I do it here.
