The Sophisticated Simplicity Of A Shirtdress

Even though it seems like ancient history now, I used to avoid buying shirtdresses. Without any particular reason, just never thought I needed one. I was so wrong! A shirtdress turned out to be an extremely versatile wardrobe staple that can be a great base to create an outfit and worn throughout the seasons. Today's post is a great example of how to wear a shirtdress in summer dressing it up a bit.

I rarely wear something almost every week, but this Gap number put a spell on me and proved the statement above. I was able to wear it with sandals, sneakers, heels, everything worked perfectly; and I’m looking forward to cooler days when shirtdresses will be of help to me as a transitional wardrobe piece and I’ll be wearing it with cardigans, vests, jackets and boots.
